Director – Rates Valuation Controller @ Tier 1 Bank - May 2012

A request was made by a senior figure at a tier 1 bank recently needing access to end of day time series USD Swaps data taken at HK close, in order for them to conduct their correlation analysis as part of their day to day processes across their middle office. We informed this senior figure that the 1y – 30 y swaps times series data under this particular currency dated back just over 5 years. This was satisfactory to their needs. However, DTS recognised that further time series data would have made their task considerably smoother and much easier. As DTS strive to keep customers more than satisfied after requests have been made, we therefore within 24hrs provided history dating back a further 5 years’, so a time series of swaps data was now available at just over 10 years’! They praised DTS and its entire staff for saving them huge amounts of time, effort and money searching other avenues for this data set. This was also sourced by DTS at NO extra cost as they have been a valuable customer for more than 10 years.
