Java Multiple Charts

We have developed a range of graphical charting solutions based on the cross-platform language Java ©. These charts are designed to be used either with our historical data or with any other data feed that you wish to configure, either historical or real-time.

Click on Java © Multi-Charts to see an interactive version / demonstration.

Designed primarily for use by project managers, software integrators, web site designers and software developers, the Java based solutions cover the following:

Multiple Charts
Individual Charts
News Item displays
QuoteTable
Technical Analysis.

Our solutions allow you to integrate these sophisticated financial solutions into your own web pages so that you can provide them to your clients.

The Multiple Chart solution allows the user to display up to 4 different charts in the one browser tab. The default configuration displays the charts on 4 equal sized panes but this can be changed if desired.

When charts are displayed in the Multi Chart window, by default they cannot be edited. For the user to then configure each chart it is necessary to Detach the chart so that a single chart is displayed and all the configuration menus are then exposed.

The data that is displayed in the charts can be sourced from DTS’s historical database, your own data sources or from other data vendor’s historical and real-time data. DTS also has a range of feed-handlers for major data vendors that can be supplied as part of the solution package.

When the Multi Chart option is selected the user is presented with the option to configure the chart screen before the data has been retrieved. This included the option to have 2 or 4 charts on the one browser screen as well as the ability to select the Instrument and the TimeScale.

This is to make the whole process more efficient for the user. See the example display to the left.
