Open Horizon was developed to allow our users an easy way to extract Horizon data and analysis into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. Developed as an “add-in” this powerful extension of Horizon Premium gives our users the ability to use the trusted Horizon database in their own Excel (and other) applications. Open Horizon provides a flexible source of historic data to drive your own evaluation and pricing models. Open Horizon is designed for users that prefer not to write code to drive the process of data extraction and yet at the same time give maximum flexibility in terms of performing analysis using Excel’s powerful features. Open Horizon is based on the powerful features of the Horizon Graph Definition Dialogue that is used to create scripts that are run to export processed data or raw data into a pre-defined set of cells in Microsoft © Excel We have also developed a Component Object Model (COM) version called Horizon COM, which when linked to Horizon Premium allows data extraction into Excel ©, Matlab © and almost any other financial application. |
