		Open Horizon gives users an easy way to extract data from the Horizon database without writing code. This data can then be loaded into their own Excel © (and other) applications to be manipulated.
		Horizon COM (Component Object Model) is an API version of Horizon Premium allowing users to make calls to the Horizon database and its functionality from their own applications (eg. Matlab ©, Excel © and other financial applications) using programming languages such as Visual Basic, C and C++.
		Horizon Direct is a Web version of Horizon Premium aimed at sole traders or users who are out of the office, or working at home, or who need remote access for presentations / demonstrations access via the internet to the Horizon database. The data is not stored locally on the users PC or network but is accessed via the internet to one of the data servers maintained by DTS.
		DTS offers access to the high quality historical Horizon database via the Internet using SOAP and REST functionality. Registered users can now specify and download the data they require and so only pay for the data they use. Web Services enables integration of the Horizon Database with Microsoft programs like Excel © using simple data queries, or incorporating DTS's historical data into web pages or other 3rd party applications.
