Derivative Trading Systems (DTS) is pleased to announce the rollout of its new Web Services architecture giving users access to a range of the highly regarded Horizon database that is used by traders, quants and risk managers for both strategic trading decisions and risk management applications. The Web Services provide seamless access to the Horizon database using both SOAP and REST functionality. Users have expressed an interest in being able to integrate the Horizon database in Microsoft Office programs like Excel using simple data queries, or incorporating DTS’s historical data into web pages or other 3rd party applications. “We have already seen a strong interest in the Web Services features that have been put in place and we expect the take-up of this new service to be a key part of our strategy in the future” according to DTS’s Managing Director Steve Bagley.
