Java Charting Support FAQ’s

(Q1) Why do I get the message “Cookies have been disabled. Defaults will be used” when I load the Multiple Charts?

(A) If you load the Multiple Chart module you will be presented with a dialogue to allow you to configure how many charts will be displayed in the Multiple Chart window and it also allows you to choose the data sets and time intervals before the charts have been created. If you choose not to pre-configure the charts, one of 2 things will happen.
If you have previously chosen the format of the charts and you have cookies enabled in your browser you will get the same charts back the next time you load the charts.
If cookies are not enabled the default charts will be drawn.
If cookies are not enabled you will be given a dialogue message that this is the case

(Q2) Why can’t I see the menu items on the charts in the Multiple Chart window?

(A) The Multiple Chart window is designed to display as many a 4 charts in a matrix and in that situation the available space for display is limited so we have removed the menu items when in that configuration. To access the menu items for each individual chart you just need to detach it from the browser, reconfigure the chart and then return it to the matrix or leave it detached for further study.
