DTS (Derivative Trading Systems Ltd) was founded in 1992 and from the beginning the accuracy and reliability of the market data delivered to clients has been paramount to us.  We filter and monitor the data and deliver it in a timely manner to ensure it is "best of breed".  Meticulous attention is paid to our historic database of market data.

From this solid data foundation DTS have built the following market data products:

The Company's global presence now encompasses 16 countries. Customers range from the largest, best known investment and commercial banks to more recently, a wide variety of hedge funds who have found our attention to detail and willingness to listen to their requirements a better way of doing business.

Our underlying data is captured at a consistent point in time three times a day from multiple sources to coincide with the closing of each of the major world financial centers. Careful collection and screening procedures ensure that the high quality of the Horizon database is maintained. Yield curve data goes back to 1986 for major currencies. Spot FX and other selected data goes back to 1980.

The Horizon product suite offers powerful tools for in depth financial analysis, providing access to the Horizon database. In recent times we have undertaken new research and development into new products and applications and new and innovative ways to leverage the database that has been put together. These new products cover a range of different areas with a focus on real-time market data distribution, Web Services data distribution, and Data Display Solutions software.

A recent exciting development is ExPDA (Excel Publish & Display Application) which enables an organisation to take in real time data, add value to it and then publish it in real time to authorised users either internally or externally using an Excel© interface.  ExPDA empowers real time data sharing in Excel allowing users to publish and subscribe to data from data vendors, internal sources or the internet.

Ascot is the latest product from DTS and is a real time data viewing platform built in Java that can display market data from a range of different sources in a web browser. Ascot has data charts with analysis built in, along with quote charts and news display in a highly configurable template where you select the data you want to see and in the format you require.  Ascot can be delivered as an internal solution for your organisation or DTS can host it for you.  Ascot is a cost effective data display solution allowing you to view the real time data you need.
